Based in the old Lead Mill Buildings at Allen Mill, the Brewery is family run business. As the popularity of craft beer has grown so has the business and we now have a team of over 10 people working to get our beer out to Drinkers in the North East and beyond.  Curlews Return, our first beer brewed back in 2006, is still one of our most popular ales and is traditionally brewed to coincide with the return of the Curlew in Spring.

We have always taken inspiration from the local landscape and heritage of Northumberland and this year we developed a new range of beers called the ‘Wilderness’ range. The new canned products in this range have proven to be so popular they are now available nationwide! You can buy our products from various pubs and bottle shops across the North East and we also have a brewery shop which is open Monday to Friday 9am to5 pm.
