We are a family-run business taking inspiration from old recipes and giving them a modern twist.

We are the leading bakery free-from bakery in the borders providing gluten and dairy-free cake options. The reason for this being that everyone should be able to enjoy a treat together as a family.

The bakery is named after grandparents Thomas and Ethel who taught us that family is important.

Our cakes are available for wholesale and retail. We provide custom made cakes and wedding cakes as well as cupcakes.

If the Scottish bakers can’t tell the difference between our cakes being gluten and dairy free we know we are doing something correctly.
