Lilliard Ginnery
Description
We launched Lilliard Gin in February 2017 from our cowshed-turned distillery, just outside Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders.
Lilliard Gin is designed to reflect the landscape where it was conceived, so we use botanicals that grow on our doorstep, and represent the four seasons in our beautiful Borders valley. Lilliard herself was the heroine of the battle on Ancrum Moor, which took place a stone’s throw away from our distillery. She fought to the death to avenge the murder of her lover at the hands of Henry VIII’s army. Part of our valley now bears her name, so we thought it was only fitting that the gin should too.
We are open for visitors at the weekend, 10am-5pm or by appointment. Tours can be arranged for groups.
