Our Story:

Our company name Kezie is a misspelling of Kezi, a small village in Matabeleland South province in Zimbabwe. Our company was founded by Walter Murray, a farmer from the Scottish Borders who innovatively started rearing Ostriches on the family farm during the 1990’s. The popularity of the meat grew and it was a natural decision to move into importing more specialist exotic meats to complement the Ostrich range. The addition of other popular ranges such as Kangaroo, Buffalo, Zebra and many more have gone from strength to strength over the past 25 years.

Today, we have a range of over 20 exotic meats, game meats and traditional meats. Our innovative product development ideas have been key to our progress and our range of food is about as natural and clean as it gets with many of the meats being genuinely wild, naturally high in protein and low in fat. We’re delighted to bring you a range with a superb selection of meats which we hope will inspire you to be adventurous with your food when cooking at home.

All of our deliveries are frozen to lock in the flavour and freshness of the products, all you need to do is simply either cook directly from frozen or defrost then cook. Kezie products are also available in 1000s of locations across the UK including Iceland stores, The Food Warehouse stores, Booker, Makro, Dobbies Garden Centres and Holland & Barratt as well as in independent butchers, restaurants, pubs and delis.
