A recipe inspired by Alice’s descendent, Hannah Glasse, famous for her 18th Century cookbook ‘The Art of Cookery Made Plain & Easy’. This paco lilla, or piccalilli, is an Indian spiced pickle made in small batches. It is classically served alongside Ploughman’s lunches, but is also fantastic with BBQed meats, charcuterie boards & cheese toasties.
Ingredients:
Vegetables in Varying Proportions (53%) (Cauliflower, Courgette, Carrot, Shallot, Pepper, Green Beans, Cabbage), Cider Vinegar (SULPHITES), Sugar, Honey, Cornflour, Salt, Spices (MUSTARD SEEDS, MUSTARD POWDER, Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander).
